Harborne started strongly in the second period and attacked repeatedly for 10 minutes.
The Pershore defence of Emily Capaldi and Sam Witherford kept them at bay alongside some fine goalkeeping by Lucy Jeffs.
Pershore won short corners but good strikes from Gardiner and Deacon went just wide.
Harborne came through with a goal in the last minute from a short corner to shatter Pershore’s hopes.
They visit Stourport thirds – who beat Bromsgrove seconds 2-0 – on Saturday.
