SALLY Smith won the sixth and final round of The Vale Golf Club's winter challenge nine-hole competition with 17 points.
The series winner will be announced at the ladies' presentation evening in November.
Fifty ladies played an 18-hole competition in a waltz format.
The winning team scoring 57 points were Mary Collier, Julie Newman and Pat Hird.
Then 47 played an 18-hole stableford with reduced handicaps which combined with the blustery, spring conditions made scoring a challenge.
The divisional winners were Silver Jan Ledbury on countback with 28 points, Bronze Julie Newman 32 and Copper Jean Hilton with 28.
