AN excellent turnout of 25 Evesham Jubilee AS members contested the first round of the Jubilee Fishery Spring League. 

Andy Mitchell, drawn on Withies peg 30, won with 57lb 12oz 0dr as he caught carp mainly in the margins.

Gary Seadon on Withies peg 25 took second place with 44-9. 

Section winners were Dave Dowditch with the top weight off the Jubilee pool from peg 18 with 30-9, Ian Pitman off Jubilee 27 with 28-14, Doug Smith off Withies 38 with 28-12 and Bob Evans off Jubilee 37 with 25-13.
