PERSHORE Swimming Club’s Hamish Cross made his debut at the Scottish National Age Group Championships in Aberdeen.
Swimming for the first time at this level Cross, 13, achieved some impressive personal best times in the 50-metre breaststroke (34.50 seconds), 50m butterfly (29.93) and 100m breaststroke (one minute 20.9 seconds).
The Bredon Hill Academy pupil combines swimming and rugby as a member of Worcester Warriors' developing player programme.
His swimming times bode well ahead of the Midlands Championships at the end of the month.
