MALCOLM Hiscock carded a nett 70 to capture Evesham Golf Club seniors’ Costa Craycombe Trophy.
Tim Swift had to settle for second place on a countback after carding a nett 70.
Doug Sharp, with a nett 74, was third.
A total of 20 golfers played in the competition which is a medal off the white tees.
It was a tough challenge for the seniors but some excellent golf was played during the contest.
Meanwhile, Evesham Seniors slipped to a 4-2 home defeat against Tewksbury Park seniors in an inter-club match.
One of the Tewkesbury visitors recorded a nett 67 playing off a handicap of 11.
Results: Ian Wood and Dave Kewley lost 2 and 1, Martin Williams and Les Bond won 2 and 1, Geoff Burton and Mick Hocking lost 2 and 1, Mike Whiteford and Steve Deakin lost 2 and 1, John Vaughan and Richard Saville halved, Bill Dobie and Ron Smith halved.
