RUNNERS will be tackling the Bourton One Mile Challenge next month.
The event takes place on Saturday, July 15, from 6.30pm.
All races will start at the Fishing Lodge along Rissington Road and finish in the centre of Bourton-on-the-Water.
The main race costs £8 to enter with medals for finishers and cash prizes for category winners.
A fun run costs £3 with medals for finishers and a trophy for the first male and female runners.
Profits will be donated to Gloucestershire Arthritis Trust.
Cotswold and Vale Electrical Contractors and Shackleton and Wintle, Heating and Plumbing are supporting the event.
According to race organiser Ali Lane there will be a disruption to traffic along Rissington Road and the High Street from 6.30pm to 7pm.
