THE third round of the Evesham Jubilee Fishery Winter League took place on the Jubilee pool.

The match proved to be a straight peg-to-peg shootout with Andy Mitchell on 12 and Martin Smith on 13 both weighing in 60lb-plus weights.

Mitchell won the round for the extra point, taking the section with a fine winter weight of 87lb 14oz, beating Smith’s 64-5.

The other section winners were Doug Smith (23 with 23-13), Ray Nosworthy (15 with 22-4) and James Gardner (2 with 20-14).
