EVESHAM and District Table Tennis Basepoint Division Two leaders Littleton Dolphins extended the gap at the top with wins against Littleton Cobras and Bengeworth Wolves.

Vladimir Averin, Murat Shafigullin and Jade Ngan secured a 10-0 victory over Cobras’ Alex Emms, Ewan McKay and Luke Fisher.

Ngan also played in the 7-3 defeat of Bengeworth Wolves and came out player of the match with three wins.

Bob Bryant had two wins for Wolves while Stephen Markham lost to Karen Chu but beat Daniel Reynolds who defeated Timothy Willis in five sets.

Second placed JLM Eagles lost further ground as they were held 5-5 by Littleton Cobras.

Alex Emms beat Eagles’ John Moore, Geoff Collings and David Lincoln-Lewis.

Luke Fisher defeated Geoff Collings and combined with Emms to take the doubles.

Bengeworth Pandas moved up to third with a 9-1 win over Bengeworth Wolves and a 7-3 victory against Littleton Giants.

Margaret Dignum won all six matches.

Littleton Jackson Five climbed to fourth with two wins as Rosie Phillpot won three in a 7-3 defeat of Littleton Giants.

Holly Bilsborrow starred in an 8-2 victory over Littleton Bears, beating Graham Jackson, Malcolm Dewsbury and Greg Bruner.
