SIX crews finally took to the water for the first time this season at Arden Sailing Club in Defford.
A sunny day and light but fickle north-westerly breeze set the scene for the spring handicap series.
All started and finished the four-lap course.
After applied handicaps Niall and Jane Campbell (Enterprise) won ahead of David Brydon (Heron), Simon Newman (Streaker), Tricia Wood (Comet), Keith Stevens and Steve Ryder (Comet).
