Reed in a tri-test in the French heat

CHRIS Reed from Evesham Vale Triathlete took part in the punishing Iron Man France in Nice on the Cote D’Azur.

Racing in searing temperatures, Reed complete the 2.4- mile swim, 112-mile bike and 26-mile run in 15 hours 39 minutes.

Closer to home, EVT member Paul Fensome competed in the Top Barn Sprint Event, finishing the 750m swim, 17-mile bike and 5km run in 1.49 to place seventh in his age group.
