HEAD coach Carl Hogg has warned Worcester Warriors players that no-one is guaranteed a place in the side for their next Greene King IPA Championship fixture against Bedford.

Hogg admits the coaches are facing a selection headache ahead of the Bedford clash at Sixways on Friday, November 7 after Warriors sealed a 39-0 derby win at Moseley on Saturday.

Warriors’ young guns have now won three successive matches in the British and Irish Cup and sit at the top of Pool Three.

Their next fixture in the competition is against Mose - ley at Sixways at the end of November.

“Everybody who has played for us in the Championship will be looking over their shoulder at the way these young players have played and conducted themselves,”

said Hogg. “We wanted healthy competition for plac - es – and that’s exactly what we have got.

“There is genuine compe - tition for every place from one to 15 and that’s what we are trying to create. No-one should have the right to walk into the side against Bedford.

“Young players need to play at a challenging level and the programme that has been rolled out has been the op - portunity they needed.

Hogg said it was great to see Mills back on the field af - ter a long injury lay-off.

“You can see that Ryan is a class act,” said Hogg.

“He played 50 minutes and you can see the talent he’s got.

“Tiff Eden is coming on leaps and bounds and that’s down to the growing confi - dence from playing games
