STOW-on-the-Wold lost their Southern Counties North top-of-the-table battle 22-14 to High Wycombe.

The hosts were undone by a dominant set of forwards but James Holmes’ try and Nick Cafearo’s conversion made it 12-7 at half-time.

Stow, who slipped to fourth in the table, went ahead through Mark Whitney’s converted effort but leaders Wycombe secured the bonus point with four tries.

Third-from-bottom Shipston-on-Stour lost 19-3 to Old Wheatleyans in Midlands Three West (South).
