EVESHAM made the North Midlands Under 16s Plate semi-finals with a 23-0 home win over Shrewsbury.
A strong defensive display laid the foundations against powerful visitors.
Evesham were dominant in the line-out and scrum with Marcus Harris, Nathan Cotton and Will Farrell all outstanding.
Player-of-the-match Glen Harvey set his backs into attack from scrum-half and Giovanni Capaldi bagged the first try before kicking a penalty.
Cotton’s unconverted try made it 13-0 at half-time and Evesham then defended superbly.
George Guy broke free to score a try after 65 minutes and an Archie Biltcliffe effort made it 23-0 with a minute to go.
Bottom-of-the-table Evesham completed their North Midlands Colts League home fixtures with a 38-3 defeat to Birmingham and Solihull.
Ash Icke kicked a penalty as the hosts were only 5-3 down at the break.
But the Bees boasted a bigger squad and ran in six tries in total.
Flanker Josh Perry was Evesham’s player-of-the-match.
In under 10s matches, Evesham Tigers beat Worcester ‘A’ 1-0 through a Laurie Checkley try and drew 0-0.
Lions lost 2-1 to Worcester ‘B’ but then won 1-0 through Ben Plumbridge.
Millar Wills and Millie Hyett were the stand-out players for Evesham.
