EVESHAM girls won their second tournament of the season with success at Yardley and District.
They finished second the previous week at Berkswell and Balsall after being beaten by a late try from Shipston.
In the pool fixtures at Yardley, Evesham beat Old Laurentians 8-2, with Chloe Holland outstanding, and then saw off Shipston in a closer contest.
Evesham edged runaway league leaders Bournville 6-5 in the final stages before fighting back from 4-0 down to defeat hosts Yardley 5-4 thanks to Becka Anderson’s late interception try.
