WORCESTER Warriors will be without their two leading scrum-halves Jonny Arr and Charlie Mulchrone for the rest of the season.
Arr has been banned for three weeks for making a tiptackle against London Scottish last Saturday.
Former Rotherham skipper Mulchrone has been ruled out until the summer after breaking a bone in his foot in the early stages of the clash at Scottish.
The duo had been vying for the nine jersey throughout the season.
Arr made 22 first-team appearances this term, scoring four tries, and Mulchrone appeared 25 times, bagging nine touchdowns.
Arr pleaded guilty to a RFU charge of committing a tip tackle, contrary to Law 10.4(j), at a disciplinary hearing on Wednesday night.
Arr is free to play again on May 28 — the day after the second leg of the play-off final should Warriors overcome Scottish.
The duo’s absence will be filled by Cavaliers skipper Jean-Baptiste Bruzulier who has 40 minutes of Championship rugby under his belt this season.
