EVESHAM United manager Paul Collicutt has underlined the importance of his team not getting carried away with their league position.

The Robins are riding high in third in Evo-Stik Southern League Division One South and West on the back of a remarkable sequence of one defeat in 18 matches.

Tomorrow they head to Hampshire to face Totton (3pm) bidding to further stake their claim for a play-off spot.

But Collicutt knows they can't afford to take their take anything for granted as the business end of the season approaches.

He said: "This run breeds confidence but it's up to myself and my coaching staff to keep the players' feet on the ground.

"We haven't done anything yet. We have still got 10 games to go and we are hoping there will be an 11th and a 12th.

"It's a far better position to be in now than 12 months ago so long may it continue."

Evesham are also looking to avenge August's 2-1 defeat to mid-table Totton at the Jubilee Stadium.

The United boss said: "We lost at home to Totton and have only lost at home three times all season. We need to come away with something tomorrow.

"They are a club that have been on the up and are one of the best supported teams in the league."

Evesham will be without defenders Lewis Binns (ankle) and Will Wellon (hamstring) as well as midfielder Elliot Kennedy (personal reasons) and striker Lance Smith (work).
