IT has only been in operation for a few weeks but donations to the memorial fund launched by the Worcestershire Supporters' Association in honour of their late chairman Ken Mills MBE are flooding in.

New association chairman Andrew Jenkins reports that the fund now stands already at more than £17,000.

It is an indication of the high esteem and regard Ken was held in at New Road - and the memorial fund will remain open until the end of 2017.

He spent 41 years as association chairman and helped to raise hundreds of thousands of pounds which were donated to the cricket club on a host of projects.

All monies raised via the memorial fund will be used for a future project for the benefit of all members at New Road.

Anyone wishing to make a donation should may a cheque payable to WCCSA or send a cheque or cash to: Cynthia Crawford MBE, President, Worcestershire Supporters' Association, County Ground, New Road, Worcester, WR2 4QQ.
