WORCESTER Wolves return to the scene of their British Basketball League Trophy triumph tomorrow evening when they take on Glasgow Rocks at the Emirates Arena (5pm).

On March 30, Wolves defeated the Rocks 83-76 on their own court to lift the University Arena club’s first piece of silverware in the BBL.

Paul James’ side went on to make it a double when they were crowned play-off champions at Wembley Arena in May.

But it was the Glasgow success, which feature a Most Valuable Player performance from Jamal Williams, that set them on their way and they will be out to inflict more misery on the Scottish side.

Wolves won all three league meetings between the team last season, including one in Glasgow, but this is their first clash this term. Despite the Rocks having made a stuttering start to the campaign, Sterling Davis’ men won 85-84 at Leicester Riders in the BBL Cup quarter-finals last Sunday.

Worcester director of basketball James said: “They are going to be full of confidence so it’s going to be very tough for us.”
