ELVISI Dusha has joined Cheshire Phoenix until the end of the season – but he insisted he would never forget his time at Worcester Wolves.

The guard arrived at the University of Worcester Arena last summer and became a key figure for the British Basketball League outfit.

But both Dusha and Brandon Parrish resigned from the club last week following a “breach of player rules”.

Dusha posted a message to Wolves fans on Facebook saying he and the club could not come to an agreement to resolve a "misunderstanding”.

But he was keen to thank fans for their “outstanding” support and wished the club success.

“This a quick message to thank you all for making my time in Worcester one never to forget,” Dusha said.

“You guys were truly outstanding and absolutely loved being part of your family.

“Unfortunately the club and myself couldn’t come to an agreement to resolve a misunderstanding, which led to my departure.

“Wish the club nothing but success & thank you for having me.”

“I don’t have any rat’s that need rehoming but all I request is you all continue to support the Wolfpack how you have done this year so far. You guys really are the backbone to the club.

“Met some really amazing people in my time here and will sure be back again.

“Worcester is actually a cool city I finally admit it. God bless you all. Love is real.”
