WORCESTER Warriors’ second-string will face defending champions Bath United in the semi-finals of the Aviva A-League at Sixways on Monday (7.30pm).

The Cavaliers could come up against former England rugby league star Sam Burgess, winger Semesa Rokoduguni and scrum-half Peter Stringer, who has won 98 caps for Ireland.

Fiji-born Rokoduguni made his England Test debut against New Zealand at Twickenham last month and was among the try-scorers in Bath’s 18-17 win at Exeter Braves on Monday.

A crowd of 3,351 watched the Southern Conference fixture and saw Bath overcome Exeter to secure the runners-up spot in their section.

Bath fought back from 14-3 down and survived a missed penalty attempt in the final play of the contest.

Cavaliers have had an outstanding campaign, topping the Northern Conference after wins against Gloucester United (34-17), Leicester Tigers (52-21), Nottingham Wanderers (22-16), Sale Jets (27-22), Newcastle Falcons (59-11) and Bristol United (29-15).

Entry to Monday’s semi-final is free.
