BRISTOL director of rugby Andy Robinson expects the Championship play-off final to be on a knife-edge.

Worcester Warriors and Bristol will go head-to-head over two legs for a place in the Aviva Premiership.

Bristol recorded a double over Warriors during the regular season — edging home by four points in each match.

Robinson said: “On both occasions Worcester have led for long periods and we have managed to find a way to win.

"We know it’s going to come down to one decision, one missed tackle, one penalty decision so it’s vital we play for 80 minutes.”

Robinson added: “Both sides are good enough to perform in the Premiership.

“When we look at Worcester they are the Premiership side who have come down.

We know they have got the experience so it’s important we deliver back-to-back performances.”

Tickets for the second leg, which takes places at Sixways on Wednesday, May 27, go on sale today at 9am.

Tickets for the first leg at Ashton Gate, on Wednesday, May 20, are on general sale from Thursday at 9am.

Warriors chief executive Jim O’Toole says tickets for both legs will be sold on a first-come first-served basis.

“I don’t want any fan to miss out, so I would encourage them to go online to get tickets,” he said.

Tickets will be available from warriors.co.uk/tickets, visiting the Warriors box office or calling 01905-459309.
