WORCESTER Warriors will be hosting their inaugural president’s lunch at Sixways from 1pm on October 2.
The event is an opportunity for supporters to join president Cecil Duckworth and dine with Warriors players and coaches ahead of the club’s Aviva Premiership return.
Former Wales, Barbarians and British and Irish Lions legend Phil Bennett is the guest speaker.
The outside-half had an illustrious career, winning 29 caps for his country as well as appearing more than 20 times for the Barbarians.
Bennett was the catalyst for the attack which led to Gareth Edwards leaping over the try-line for the Barbarians against New Zealand in January 1973.
Tickets are £60 and include a three-course meal. Details on 01905-459308, e-mail events@warriors.co.uk
