A WORCESTER Warriors win against Italian outfit Zebre would be an ideal birthday present for experienced flanker Sam Betty.

The former Cornish Pirates star is 29 years old today and he will be making his 100th appearance for Worcester when he steps on to the field in Saturday’s European Challenge Cup match (2pm GMT).

He said: “It’s going to be a challenge because Zebre are going to be tough at home.”

Betty said last Saturday’s 19-3 home success against French club La Rochelle had been a struggle but Worcester were pleased to get their European campaign off to a winning start.
