WORCESTER Sixth Form College powered to the AASE finals day after thrashing Newcastle’s Gosforth Academy 47-7 at Nunnery Wood.
Warriors' AASE side take on Henley College (Wasps AASE) at Saracens’ Allianz Park on Wednesday, December 2.
Worcester got off the mark after a counter-attack was finished off by Dan Batty with Sam Hollingsworth converting.
After a powerful line-out drive, Alex Gordon dotted down with Hollingsworth adding the extras again.
Winger Barron Abrahams was on the end of a fine team try, which was again converted.
Worcester then forced a turn-over that ended with Abrahams crossing for his second try.
A flowing backs move was capped off by number eight Ted Hill and Hollingsworth converted.
Stan Mayne finished a set-piece move and another conversion gave Worcester a 40-0 lead.
In the second half, Max Hill scored Worcester’s seventh try and Hollingsworth converted before a late consolation for the visitors.
Manager Ryan Watkins said: “The boys will be quietly confident going into the finals day at Allianz Park. We’ve taken maximum points from the play-offs and played some outstanding rugby.”
