WORCESTER Warriors centre Alex Grove is looking forward to his loan spell at Championship strugglers London Scottish.

Grove is the brother of current Scot Oli Grove and is training with the club ahead of their home Championship match against Yorkshire Carnegie on Saturday.

Grove has made 151 appearances for the Warriors and three caps for Scotland after featuring in matches against Fiji, Australia and Argentina in 2009.

Grove said: "It's a great opportunity to get some game time at Scottish and hopefully contribute in the coming weeks.

"I spoke to Dean Ryan about getting some more time out on the pitch and I'm familiar with the club after coming down many times to watch Oli play.

"After speaking with Pete Richards, he was happy to facilitate the move. I have trained with the team andlooking forward to getting started.”
