WORCESTER Warriors will cross the Irish Sea on Friday, August 26 for a pre-season clash against Guinness PRO12 outfit Munster.
The game will take place at Irish Independent Park in Cork as Warriors look to prepare for their second season back in the Aviva Premiership.
With a whole host of exciting new faces joining the Club this summer, the encounter will give the likes of Ben Te’o and Jackson Willison an opportunity to pull on the Warriors jersey before the competitive action gets underway in September.
The match will also see British & Irish Lion Donncha O’Callaghan return to the club at which he spent the best part of two decades.
Director of rugby Dean Ryan said: “Taking on a strong European side like Munster is exactly the kind of test we need to prepare ourselves for the 2016/17 Aviva Premiership season.”
The kick-off time for the match will be announced in due course.
