WASPS will be without three Six Nations winners for Sunday’s Aviva Premiership Midlands derby against Worcester Warriors at the Ricoh Arena (2.30pm).

Under the terms of the agreement between Premiership Rugby and the RFU, Eddie Jones’ England squad must all miss one of the four weekends subsequent to the end of the Six Nations.

Wasps’ boss Dai Young has decided that skipper Joe Launchbury, centre Elliot Daly and No.8 Nathan Hughes will not face Warriors.

However, England flanker James Haskell, who missed five months through injury prior to the Six Nations, will take his place in Wasps’ match-day 23.

Warriors centre Ben Te'o, who was also part of England's title-winning squad, will miss the derby.

Te'o has been ruled out through concussion after a crunching collision with Ireland's Robbie Henshaw in last Saturday's match in Dublin.

Young said: “Nathan, Launchers and Elliot have all played a lot and are due a break whereas Hask is in a different place, and will definitely be involved.

“It’s about where they are individually as much as what’s in the agreement.

“Winning always helps, so they’re all in a good place mentally, if a little disappointed they didn’t finish the job, but physically it’s been a hard camp."

Young added: “Launchers and Elliot had both played a lot before going to England, and the big thing for us is to have them fit for next week in Dublin (against Leinster).

"We could have dragged them in this week, but we would have been asking one of them to break down, and then we’d be kicking ourselves.”
