FLY-HALF Tom Heathcote will be targeting a return to action in November for Worcester Warriors as he battles back from another bout of concussion.

The Scotland international has not played since being taken off in Warriors’ 41-10 thrashing by Exeter Chiefs last month.

And the Aviva Premiership outfit have confirmed the 25-year-old faces a further three weeks on the sidelines.

It was the third time in less than 12 months that Heathcote had sustained a bang to the head as he missed a large chunk of last season due to concussion.

Heathcote is expected to miss Warriors’ European Challenge Cup clashes against Brive on Saturday (3pm) and Connacht the following Saturday.

He is also likely to be unavailable for Worcester’s trip to Harlequins in the Aviva Premiership on Saturday, October 28.

But he could be back for their Anglo-Welsh Cup opener against Sale Sharks at Sixways on Friday, November 3.

Director of rugby Gary Gold could also be further strengthened at fly-half ahead of the Sharks fixture with the return of Ryan Mills.

The versatile back is overcoming a quad problem sustained on his comeback from a long injury lay-off at Gloucester.

But Mills is due to be back available in three weeks time along with Heathcote.
