WING Perry Humphreys and hooker Joe Taufete’e could feature for Worcester Warriors before the end of the season after returning to training.

Humphreys, 23, has been out of action since sustaining medial collateral ligament damage in Warriors’ European Challenge Cup defeat at Brive in late January.

Taufete’e, 25, has also had a frustrating spell on the sidelines after suffering a knee injury when he was on international duty with USA in February.

Director of rugby Alan Solomons said the duo were now available for selection as Warriors gear up for their final two Aviva Premiership games of the campaign.

Worcester take on Harlequins at Sixways a week on Saturday (3pm) before visiting Northampton Saints the following Saturday (4pm).

“Pezza will come back into the mix,” Solomons said.

“He has integrated fully into practice so it is good to see him back.”

On Taufete’e, Solomons added: “He is back and trained fully with us today so he has been integrating into our sessions. He will be available for selection.

“He is a good player.

“He has completed his rehabilitation and is ready to (play).”

Solomons said he was also “very hopeful” of seeing Francois Hougaard back in action as he battles to recover from an ankle injury.

And he admitted there was a “possibility” lock Anton Bresler who has been struggling with a calf problem would be fit to face Quins.

“We have got have a look at that (Bresler’s calf) and see how he tracks,” Solomons said.
