Here we go again Carl Heeley on look out for a player how about he and his sidekick get down to local grass routes and get some players from Worcester instead of far a field all the time.get round the schools and local football and get some youngsters from Worcester playing and then we might just see more people watching their local side take KHAN out of squad and can you name another local lad.

Bilford Road venue becoming focal point for future sport in Worcester
Building over a public park to make a stadium is crazy. Everyone can use the open space - it's already a vital and rare place. The vast majority of people of Worcester will not make use of the proposed stadium. When you add a supermarket in to the mix, it's crazier still. The understandable wish to have the club back in town is blinding people to the permanent loss of a big chunk of green space.

Amid the gloom Dean Ryan finds a bright future
Officer Nordburg wrote:
No doubt that Dean Ryan has our long term future as his main goal which is refreshing to hear. However the current situation is very depressing to supporters. Just a whole game full of effort from the team that's all I ask tonight if I go away from the game thinking well they gave there all out there and still lost I wont mind as much as I have minded the half efforts that have so far occurred this season.

Before you all start waving your pitchforks around and marching up (metaphorically, or literally) to the University, I think some people need a little more awareness that if these offenders were 17, then they CANNOT be University students. Universities take on students at a HE level, so they will have had to have gone through FE first. With compulsory education post 16 now a government requirement, that would mean (and has always meant) that University students are OVER 18. Hence, these offenders could NOT be university students.
I am getting really FED UP of people criticising both the Uni and students, just because of a stereotyped, often prejudiced, cliché about students 'Causing havoc' amidst the streets of Worcester. I was previously a Worc Uni student, and also had other dealings with Uni staff and students after achieving the first of my degrees (This was some time ago. I am in no way affiliated or linked to the University at present I wish to add) and I NEVER came across poor behaviour, vandalism, or violence which would affect the wider community.
When my car was vandalised, I was at home, over 4 miles away from the Uni, and you can bet your bottom dollar that this was not a Uni student. The same applies when years later my Mom had her stereo stolen from her car. Again, a relatively low crime area, but no where near the Uni. So why, I ask you, just because a crime is committed in a postcode relatively near to the Uni, should students always take the blame? I am not denying the fact, that criminals can attend University too, but not all Uni students are criminals or deviants.
In fact, why don't you blacken the name and give University students a poor review when an alumni student is the person driving your ambulance when you need one? Your paramedic? Your family’s midwife, safely delivering a family member into the world. The nurse visiting your elderly relative so she can have home care? The scientist who is finding a cure for your dilapidating pollen allergy? The teacher inspiring your child to become successful in life and read their first words?
I could go on, but you get my point. Students are not a sub-group of human beings. They are young people, educating themselves to progress in life, to benefit the community, and who knows, humanity itself. By the sound of some of the remarks I have read on the WN site, a majority of you would have the university closed down if you could. Well, I think some of you need to sit back and actually think about that for a moment. Worcester University is a great University, and as I said before, it is facilitating the education and skills of a wide variety of valuable, future professionals.

We must talk about Worcester City's ground plans, says politician
Maybe I'm being thick - but don't Worcester City play on Saturday - when school is closed - or in the evening - when school is closed. The two lots of traffic won't clash. Now the weekend traffic to the waste site will be an issue that will need to be addressed though.
There is still plenty of space for dog walkers! The arguments don't stack up.

Pennell’s praise for new Warriors regime
I spent the evening at sixways and came away disappointed too .
The intensity and accuracy of the quins was evident and so too was the presence of 7 internationals in their side . We came to the conclusion that it looked like men and boys out there and guess who were the boys .
Ryan is going to have to put up with negative comments and learn how to cope if he isnt already . I do however believe that the guy has a long term strategy and I am content not to draw conclusions before christmas ! We will be able to see some effects by then . Ryan is not the only 'legend' to have a bumpy start this season , Just look at the fortunes of Mourinho and he inherited a top three side !
