‘Somebody could die’ if ponies are not tethered
James, after your previous rant about banning all horses from the roads and being personally tempted to run over cyclists I'm surprised you haven't already driven over there to get rid of the ponies yourself.

Cyclists are a nuisance on the road

The cyclist was obviously an idiot but are you seriously saying you would have taken a conscious decision to use your vehicle as a weapon in an attempt to him/her ?

A perfect example of the problems with the benefits system, it encourages people to not work by being more profiatable to be "on the dole".
The sooner we get it into our heads that the benefits system is a safety net and not an alternative lifestyle the better.
Hopefully he will have his benefits stopped for refusing a perfectly good job.

Meet Worcester's first electric taxi driver
I've been using a zero emission vehicle for years.
It cost £500 15 years ago. It's saved me £1,000's in petrol, bus and taxi fares.
I don't need an MOT and servicing and repair costs are minimal.
As with other low emission vehicles I don't pay VED and apart from third party cover its not worth bothering with insurance.
For most journeys around Worcester its quicker than any car or taxi.
I hardly ever get stuck in traffic and seldom have parking problems. I've certainly never had to pay for parking.
It has also helped me shed pounds in other ways.
But I also use a car when it makes sense to do so!

Will you lot get your opinions straight on things here? Connell writes this, clearly slanted to show his disgust at the scumbag kids allowed to get away with this behaviour, and you're all in agreement. He writes about his disgust about the pathetic sentences given out in the court, a not wholly unrelated subject, and you berate him as being childish and unprofessional. What precisely do you want?

Yes, agreed. But let's not call this a suicide attempt. Makes me laugh how people jump of the railway bridge a few hundred meters down and all is fine. Yet, someone who is seeking attention gets newspaper attention and live updates.. Do people not know you can go to the doctor band get help??

Don't miss your 16-page royal baby souvenir TODAY
I don't really have a problem with the royal family. They have a new baby, that's lovely for them. I don't blame them at all for all the press brouhaha. I do however have a problem with the press and media. I think they have vastly overestimated the interest of the British public. Hours and hours of tv coverage of people just stood around waiting in case something happens. How is that interesting, informative or even entertaining? Speculation gone mad, endless pointless questions being asked over and over again, to which no-one really knows the answers. Is the 16 page supplement filled with new, original and interesting photos or reports? I would guess not. Exactly the same stuff being reported in all the other newspapers, online and on tv. Hands up, I must say I haven't seen it, but would guess it's a generic royal baby supplement put together by Newsquest for inclusion in all their papers.
