Since opening on Evesham’s Bridge Street last month this delightful authentic Italian cafe has been thriving as people enjoy a slice of Italy.

The contemporary Italian cafe is fast growing a good reputation for its delicious food and their own blend of coffee expertly served by the Barista.

Open from 8.30am you can start the day with a frothy cappuccino and cornetti, an Italian breakfast pastry.

Owner Vito Lihari has plenty of industry experience, previously working in Michelin star restaurant in Edgbaston, managing at Costa and general manger of 400-seat bar and restaurant in Birmingham.

“With a young family myself I wanted to move out of the city and Evesham is the ideal place to settle and start our own family business.

"Buongiorno Cafe offers a warm, hearty Italian welcome to families and serves great home cooked fare that everyone can enjoy.”

In the kitchen chef Toni Laudicina, from Tuscany, prepares homemade food from pizza to pasta, focaccia to tiramisu.

“Ninety-five per cent of all our food is made here on the premises. It’s fresh and authentic to give a true taste of Italian food.

"During the daytime we have a café menu to eat in or takeaway including; freshly prepared panni’s, cold pizza’s and pizza slices, ideal for children or those with smaller appetites.”

The mouth-watering food and selection of cakes and pastries is displayed in the cafe which is sure to tempt you!

Not only is this a good place to meet for lunch but they also take food orders until 9pm Friday and Saturday evenings. Vito says: “On those evenings diners can stay late to enjoy their taste of Italy.

"We offer a select three course menu in the evenings which changes every week, but includes fish, meat, pasta and risotto dishes.

"As we have a licence to serve alcohol with your meal why not enjoy a traditional aperitif Glass of Prosecco? Chianti with your meal or finish with a digestif such as Limoncello?”
