TONIGHT is the night when we learn the winners of the Worcestershire Health and Social Care Awards 2021.

It is sure to be a fantastic and an emotional evening, as we recognise the inspiration nominees who helped others during the pandemic.

The wait will be over when the ceremony, sure to be uplifting, gets underway at 7pm.

It runs for about an hour, and you don't need to have a Facebook profile/account.

Some household names including Ricky Tomlinson, Debbie McGee, Jake Wood and Matt Dawson will be making guest appearances throughout the evening.

Good Morning Britain star Dr Hilary Jones said it was his "absolute pleasure" to be the host of the Worcestershire Health and Social Care Awards 2021, .

Award categories being contested include Health Care Team, Care Hero, Care Home Worker, Domiciliary Home Worker, Good Nurse, Care Trainer, Child and Adolescent Health, Dementia Carer, Palliative/End of Life, Mental Health, Health Care Employer and GP Practice of the Year.

The awards ceremony will be live streamed on the Worcester News' Facebook site between 7pm and 8pm.

If you miss the show, you can catch up as the video will remain available to view on the Worcester News Facebook page afterwards.

It will though be more fun to watch it as it happens, so you can share the emotion of the evening as it unfolds with others.

The video will be streamed in a Facebook post that you can share with your friends. You can also add your comments, emojis and photos.
