I have lived here for over 14 years and can honestly say they have been some of the happiest times of my life. The house has a lovely feel to it. It's a bright, airy house (thanks to the high ceilings and large bay windows) and everyone who is invited says what a lovely homely feeling it has about it.

I have raised a family here, originally choosing the location for the local Northampton Boys School and when my children were toddlers, the location of the park.

The house has gone above and beyond my wildest expectations. I have loved the summers here - spending most of the time in the garden, basking up the sun, sitting in the hot tub and chatting to the neighbours over the fence. The park has been amazing and we have spent many hours having picnics in the park, breakfast in the cafe or just listening to the band play in the bandstand on a balmy summer afternoon.

Winters are really cosy in the house. The heating keeps the house warm but on those really cold nights it's great to set the wood and coal in the fireplace and sit round toasting marshmallows. The lounge is very cosy at night, with just the fire and the candles glowing. The original floorboards are amazingly warm to walk on too.

Having the loft and the cabin installed has added another exciting dimension to the property, along with another income stream. I have really enjoyed being an Airbnb host to many of the international guests who have stayed with me. The layout of both ensure that your privacy is maintained.
