THE Orchestra of the Swan will kick off its 21st anniversary season with a Baroque and Beyond concert at Huntingdon Hall, in Worcester.
The date will be Tuesday, September 21, at 7.30pm and the lead violinist will be David Le Page.
The programme, featuring works by Piazzolla and Vivaldi, has been planned as "an exciting combination of Baroque and the 20th century".
The spokesman added: "Piazzolla's tango-inspired concerto includes percussive strings which grab the audience's attention before reverting to a more traditional style."
It should be an exciting way to kick off an exciting and significant year.
David Curtis, the principal conductor said: "We have over 40 concerts next season, including tours to Mexico and Saudi Arabia."
