A SERIES of creative events take place during half-term at Worcestershire’s County Museum at Hartlebury Castle.

South American Carnivals, Chinese New Year and the Hindu/Sikh festival of Holi are just some of the events explored during Fantastic Festivals, a four-day programme of artistic events for children.

Between Tuesday and Friday, February 22-25, youngsters will be able to get stuck into an array of colourful activities marking the celebrations, all of which take place in February.

These include making carnival headdresses, masks and ornamental lamps, as well as crafting Chinese stick figures and origami. In addition, children will be able to follow a Mystery Trail around the museum.

Three activities take place per day. Admission is £4.50 for adults, children/concessions £2.25 or a family ticket is £12. For a day’s activities there is an additional charge of £1 per child.
