BEING a social media influencer is not just taking selfies.

Some incredibly talented people have built up a huge following on Instagram, YouTube and TikTok by showing off their incredible skills.

There's a lot of niches people love to explore - from cooking and painting to fitness and butchery.

These are five talented social media influencers from Worcestershire.

1. Cam Pickstock

Cam is an incredibly talented artist who makes 'hand painted wearable art' in Worcester.

Painting Air Force 1s, jackets and sliders, he has done artwork of rappers Juice Wrld and Travis Scott, cartoon characters Coraline and Rick and Morty and Manga character Naruto.

He has managed to gain 105,000 followers on Instagram and over 571,000 followers on TikTok where his videos have gained 14 million likes.

2. Poppy O'Toole

Poppy O'Toole grew up in Bromsgrove and is now TikTok's favourite chef winning awards and gaining 1.7m fans.

The Michelin-trained chef became a viral sensation with her potato recipes through lockdown including a 15-hour potato recipe.

She even released a book Poppy Cooks: The Food You Need and has gone from being unemployed after a redundancy during the pandemic to a fully-fledged influencer.  

3. Scott Rea

Scott Rea from Worcester has grown a massive following on YouTube teaching people butchery skills and traditions.

His YouTube videos have gathered an incredible 81,323,171 views and 346,000 subscribers.

Not only does he teach peple how to butcher animals but he provides recipes too for all kinds of meat from squirrel and rabbit to octopus and lobster.

4. Jake Abbott

The former Worcester Warriors player has built a following on social media as an online trainer.

Jake shows his 14,000 followers how he is progressing as a bodybuilder as well as shares his clients' success.

5. Imogen Gunter

Imogen is an incredibly talented pole fitness and aerial hoop instructor.

She owns the Aerial Inspirations studio in the city and post pictures and videos of her amazing skills.

She has built a following of 41.6k people on Instagram by showcasing her skills and giving a behind the scenes look at her life off the pole and hoop.
