Now, in a series of tweets, he’s revealed that he is actually in Florida and will be unable to make it to Leonard’s funeral.
William who played the often-emotional Captain Kirk opposite Leonard’s half-human, half-Vulcan character Spock, has instead suggest that March 1 be a day of Twitter celebrations.
His hashtag sign off #LLAP, Live Long And Prosper was the same one used by Leonard in his poignant final tweet on February 23.
