Taylor Swift has joined the ranks of powerful females.
The Blank Space singer, 25, has entered Forbes’ 12th annual list of the world’s 100 most powerful women, which is headed by German chancellor Angela Merkel and US presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.
She is the youngest woman to appear on this year’s list, taking the 64th position.
TV mogul and actress Oprah Winfrey took 12th spot in the list, which is dominated by female CEOs such as Melinda Gates, US Federal Reserve Bank Chair Janet Yellen and General Motors CEO Mary Barra.
Poker Face singer Lady Gaga has dropped out of this year’s list, along with supermodel Gisele Bundchen, who has announced her retirement from the catwalk.
The Forbes list takes money, media impact and spheres of influence into account, which includes their reach on social media and earnings.
