A Worcestershire school has improved its outside learning areas with the help of volunteers from the Duckworth Trust.

Fladbury First School has developed its grounds to give the children a new builder's shed and mud kitchen while a platform and steps have been installed to make the most of a sloping site.

Tina Kilgallon, teacher and forest school leader, said: “We wanted to develop our grounds to make the most of the opportunities for children to learn outdoors.

"All of our children use the outdoors on a regular basis with Forest School sessions every week and we have also had lots of support from a very active PTFA in clearing the environmental area.

"We can’t thank all the volunteers enough for all their hard work!”

Volunteers from The Duckworth Trust helped advise the school on how to maximise the potential of the grounds.
