MAY I respond to the letter by Silvia Dunn (Journal, May 8).
First of all I never mentioned Poles, Indians, or any other ethnic minorities, my
grievance was with the writers who put their names to the letter about the English Defence League (EDL).
It was stated that the EDL had no right to protest, nor did the Journal have
any right in reporting it.
It does not matter who is at the time of protesting as we have what is called democracy in this country at the moment, until the EU stop that.
Then Silvia Dunn goes onto say that I am scaremongering about churches, whether it be
in Evesham or any other area. I suggest she would like to spend a day with me and I will open her eyes.
And as to the rant from Rita Jelfs, of Australia, I was telling the so-called men of the cloth that religion and politics do not go together. If they want to spout off about politics they should put up for Parliament.
