TO commemorate a century since the start of the First World War the Vale of Evesham Historical Society is mounting a rolling exhibition to remember local men and women who served in the conflict.
As part of the national programme to commemorate a century since World War One began the society are seeking old memorabilia illustrating what life was like for the people left at home during the course of the war.
To help the society mount an exhibition worthy of Vale residents' grandparents and great grandparents, and of all the men and women of the area who served the country during that time contact Gerry Harte on gerryharte@aol.com or Rachel Knowles on rj.knowles@hotmail.co.uk or 01386 761522.
