SWEET toothed students, staff and guests all got to enjoy the taste of a range of entries into Fladbury First School's first bake off.
It was the first time the school had held the competition, inspired by the TV sensation, the Great British Bake Off.
Taking place in the aftermath of the show, on Friday, October 10, pupils, parents and members of the local community donated £2 each to Macmillan Cancer Support to enter their cake in the competition. The lucky winner was Francesca Bruce, aged eight, for her hedgehog chocolate cake.
Afterwards, everyone enjoyed a slice or two with their coffee and the event raised £154.78 for the Macmillan's World’s Biggest Coffee Morning.
The bake off followed the school’s Harvest Festival service and the children chose to send their harvest gifts to the Maggs Day Centre in Worcester.
