LIKE many thousands of others I took the opportunity on Sunday to remember the people I served with in the Far East and Middle East.
Later that day I went to a local supermarket to get some milk. Whilst there, apart from staff, I counted only FOUR people wearing poppies out of the hundreds there.
I have to say I was very disappointed.
Oh I know there are those who Don't believe in War. Do any of us?
This is a time to say thanks to those who didn't believe in war but sacrificed themselves anyway.
Is it really so hard to wear a poppy?
