RESIDENTS in Wychavon are being reminded to check their collection dates over the festive season as recycling, refuse and garden waste will be affected by the Christmas period.
Sharon Casswell, client services manager at Wychavon said: "Christmas is a hectic time for everyone and we don’t want people to get stuck with extra waste and recycling if they forget their Christmas dates have changed. Dates can also be looked up on our website and were publicised as usual in the Wychavon magazine."

During the periods from Monday, December 29 to Friday, January 9, residents can also put out additional sacks of recycling, in clear sacks, available at Customer Contact Centres and two additional sacks of refuse.
Normal collections will resume on Monday, January 19.
Calendars for 2015 collections are also available at Wychavon’s website or can be collected from Customer Contact Centres.
And for those not sure what to do with the Christmas tree, they can be taken to Household Recycling Centres or chopped up and put in garden waste bins.
