CHILDREN at Fladbury CE First School came face to face with some dinosaurs when they found the whole of the hall taken over by the prehistoric creatures.
Two classes spent the morning exploring all things dinosaur, which is one of their topics for this term. Headteacher Julie Wilson said: "The children were so excited, it was as though they were living in prehistoric times, or were part of a film set.
"They listened to the different sound effects for each type of dinosaur and were able to hold a fossil dinosaur egg as well as finding out lots about how dinosaurs roamed our planet all that time ago."
Six-year-old Elsie Morris, who is pictured in the photo, said: "We got to stroke the dinosaurs, which were all scaley. We could look in their mouths too, they were really big with very sharp teeth. I’m really glad they were only models."
