Bees have been kept by my family for five generations, so I am aware of what they like.
However, I did ask that the seeding heads of the red valerian be removed.
I think this would be done by considerate and thoughtful gardeners so as not to 'share' something other people may regret acquiring.
I have spent too many unhappy hours trying to rid a former garden of this, re-pointing and re-placing mortar destroyed by roots.
Congratulations on having such a varied selection for the bees.
They would prefer it to valerian, which they do not swarm around.
