THE next meeting of the Wyre Forest Historical Research Group will take place on Tuesday, November 14 in Kidderminster Town Hall, at 2pm.
Andrew Lound will talk about the Titanic and the West Midlands connections.
Gay Hill, publicity officer, said: "Andrew comes in full White Star Line uniform and uses audio and numerous props. More than 70 per cent of the Titanic's interior was manufactured in the Midlands, as well as the anchor, which was made at Hingleys in Netherton. There were also many passengers from the Midlands on board including two runaway lovers who have an intriguing link with Malvern, Worcester, Birmingham and also Kidderminster."
There is a small entry fee which includes refreshments.
