FIRE crews have been called to a lorry fire on the M5 near Worcester.
The fire, reported at 6.37am today, involved on an HGV on the northbound carriageway with overheated brakes between junctions 8 and 7 of the M5, south of Worcester.
Three fire crews are at the scene from Upton, Worcester and Gloucester.
One hose reel jet is in use.
One lane blocked and heavy traffic is building due to the fire.
There is no sign of major fire or smoke across the carriageway.
