A DRAGONBOAT group have held a series of taster sessions for a local group.
Pershore Greyhounds Community Dragonboat Group, led by Keith and Lorna Burton, have held sessions for the ladies of the Worcestershire Federation of Womens Institutes.
Throughout April, May, and June, Greyhound members offered their guidance and expertise to novice crews to enable them to have a new experience.
Refreshments were provided, organised by Janet Murphy, of Oak Apple WI, who is also a member of the Greyhounds group.
The Worcestershire Federation chairman, Marjorie Whiting, together with Christine Hickman-Smith and Margaret Bazley were on hand to offer encouragement to the ladies as well as many of their families and friends.
Each participating member was presented with a certificate of participation.
Some WI members have returned for further sessions with the Greyhounds on Sundays at 10.30am, or Wednesdays or Thursdays at 6.15pm at Pershore Football Club.
